2x Cuvée Katrina 2019
‘Beautiful white gold colour. Expressive nose of nectarine and exotic fruits (mango, passion fruit) mixed with rather intense empyreumatic notes. When agitated, lightly mineral notes of flint appear as well as a floral touch reminiscent of mimosa. The attack is supple and continues with good balance and good roundness. The finish is persistent, on fresh honeysuckle notes.’
2 x Cuvée La Cômbe 2016
‘Gourmand. Blackberries with layered and subtle jammy red fruit, paprika and hints of liquorice on the nose. Medium acidity. The mouth is full and textured, with robust but round tannins. Elegantly toasted and integrated oak. Mocha and dried mushrooms on the finish.’
2 x Cuvée Saint Georges 2017
‘Garnet colour of medium intensity. Expressive nose of black pepper with powerful meaty and roasted notes mixed with rather intense vanilla and smoky aromas. The attack is supple and the palate is ample, with a lingering gourmet finish with notes of toast. A very pleasant, complex Syrah wine in the style of the Côtes du Rhône North.’
Awards & Accolades
If a wine has been awarded a medal, it is a good indication that it is credible and of good quality.
A medal does not make our wine better, neither does it mean that we are the “winner” above all others. Wines are blind tasted by professional and amateur judges who award points to wines based on colour, aroma, flavour and overall impression. Those wines which achieve the requisite scores are awarded a ‘gold’, or ‘silver’ representing the highest standards as prescribed by that particular panel.
Still, who doesn’t enjoy some recognition?
