Our Vineyard
Wines have been made in the Côte de Provence region since Roman times.
We are a family-owned boutique vineyard producing a small quantity of organic wines, our hand harvested grapes reflecting the classic terroir and climate of the region. Château de La Cômbe is situated in southern Provence and stands on the Ancient Roman road the Via Julia Augusta, connecting Frejus and Vidauban, and had been producing wines for centuries. In 2009, the Château was lovingly restored and the vines were replanted to provide our first harvest in 2013. Since then our wines have received numerous prestigious awards and are enjoyed by a privileged few.
Our Terroir
Premium Quality Winemaking
We then use our state of the art vinification cave equipped with temperature controlled stainless steel & French Allier oak tanks and the latest destemming and pressing equipment. Our wines are then aged in our historic vaulted cellar in 228l French Allier barrels.
This process means that we produce small volumes of high quality wine which we are very proud of. Every year our wines have slightly different characteristics born through the unique weather patterns of the growing season.
